Back Pain
Back pain has many causes including
poor
posture, improper lifting, repetitive strain, poor body
conditioning, and past injury and accident But whatever the
cause, whether the pain is caused by decreased motion in the joints
of the spine or sacroiliac joint, a
bulging or herniated disc, muscle and ligament strain,
scoliosis or
degenerative
joint disease, the result is the same.
Low back pain is the leading cause of disability in adults aged 30 to 50.
Chiropractic adjustments, along with the healing properties of electrotherapy and ultrasound, muscle work, exercise and postural education are tools Dr. Hume is trained to use in helping you return to, and maybe even surpass, your pre-injury state. Following Dr. Hume's advice helps your body to heal itself and makes it possible to turn that healing into long-term relief from back pain.
