Muscle Pain / Trigger Points - Causes
Some of the factors in the formation of trigger points include:
- Repetitive motion
- Sudden trauma to muscles, ligaments, tendons and bursa
- Excessive exercise
- Chilling of areas of the body such sitting under an air conditioning duct or sleeping in front of an air conditioner
- Obesity
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Lack of activity
- Muscle strain
