Rule of 3
When thinking about what you can do to improve your health,
consider the rule of 3.
The rule of 3 is a general guideline used by forensics and the
military to determine how long a person can live without the
essentials. The averages are:
- air - 3 minutes
- water - 3 days
- food - 3 weeks
Obviously, clean air is essential for good health as well as
life.
- If you have concerns about your air quality, consider getting an air purifier.
- Antioxidants are also good protection from air pollution.
Plenty of clean water is essential for healthy digestion,
nutrient absorption, detoxification, skin hydration and healthful
longevity.
- Everyone needs a water filtration system.
- Consider a
shower head filter. We take in 3-5 times
more chemicals from showering in water than drinking water.
Dr. Hume recommends a point of use water filtration
system. Don't drink distilled, reverse osmosis or bottled
water. The
water filtration system available here is
currently the highest rated filtration system in the U.S. It
removes synthetic chemicals, organic and
inorganic contaminants, heavy metals, bacteria
and rebalances the
pH. Importantly, it does
not remove the minerals. It is available in all states and Canada. With this system, water is
about 9 cents/gallon.
