FAQ
If I follow the diet and supplement recommendations, will I
be able to stop taking the medications I'm currently on?
We do not recommend patients stop taking their
medications! However, by following the recommendations, your
body may be able to heal itself sufficiently that you do not need
the medications. Your medical doctor should be pleased with
your improvement.
Do I really need all those blood tests?
Just a few tests will not give us enough information.
An example of this is a patient who came in for an evaluation
because he didn't want to take the cholesterol lowering drugs his
medical doctor had prescribed. The comprehensive evaluation
we do revealed the reason for his high cholesterol was Hepatitis C,
a serious liver disease! Taking the cholesterol medication
likely would have killed him (cholesterol medication puts
additional stress on the liver). Comprehensive blood analysis
gives us the information we need to provide patients with
appropriate recommendations.
Why are the blood tests so expensive?
The laboratories in our area normally charge $1000-$2000 for
these 50 standard blood tests. We investigated and found a
way to provide a substantial discount for the tests by prepaying at
a bulk rate.
How much blood do I have to give?
The 50 blood tests are done on one drawing of blood.
